published in 1994, this 269 page (many containing more than one
recipe), spiral bound book has gone into its tenth printing, and
one can see why. The authors, who taught high school home economics
together for nine years, have compiled a huge number of recipes
for everything from muffins and pancakes to different versions
of lasagna, veal Parmigiana, various roasts, Cajun fried turkey,
vegetables on their own or in casseroles, and an array of desserts
that sound so delicious you might just want to skip dinner! An
interesting addition is a series of charts, for cuts of meat,
rice cookery, substitutions to eliminate alcohol or calories,
and table settings.
