Shrimp and Mushroom Dip

1/2 cup chopped green onion 3/4 pound mushrooms or 3 (4-ounce) cans, stems and pieces
1 onion, chopped 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1/2 cup parsley 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
3 cloves garlic 1/2 cup port wine (Gallo Rhine White Wine)
1 1/2 sticks butter  

1. Sauté onions, parsley, and garlic in butter.

2. Add mushrooms and sauté 10 minutes on medium heat.

3. Add shrimp; sauté 10 minutes or until pink.

4. Add bread crumbs and mix thoroughly.

5. Add wine, simmer until heated thoroughly. Serve in a Chafing dish with garlic rounds.
